Our program is designed to improve your fitness level to enhance your ability to perform a given sport. It includes corrective and restorative exercise, strength training, conditioning, cardiovascular training, sports-specific techniques and drills, nutritional advice, mental and psychological training, and constant and consistent accountability and monitoring by a qualified trainer through strength and endurance training. We believe athletes who put in the work, time, and dedication will exceed the level of their opponents.

THENEWMD offers yoga therapy. Yoga therapy is a process to empower you to improve your health and well-being through the practice of yoga. Yoga therapy is a whole-body approach; it is a mind-body practice that focuses on your physical, emotional, and mental health. The method uses movement, mindfulness, meditation, relaxation, and breathing exercises to help you relax, relieve stress, and manage underlying conditions or symptoms in addition to treatment by a healthcare provider.

THENEWMD offers stretch classes. These classes will give clients a new way to enhance their overall performance. Stretching is one of the most critical factors in reaching your fitness goals. Stretching helps in more ways than simply improving flexibility. When your muscles are tight, it’s harder for you to perform exercises correctly. It causes decreased mobility ranges, overcompensation of other muscle groups, and poor posture. Effective stretching is essential for preventing a wide array of injuries. Stretching won’t fight wrinkles; it will help your body feel and act younger for extended periods. Your mobility, due to more lengthened and supple muscle fibers, allows your body to stay in top shape for a more extended period. If you’re constantly feeling tired and stressed, it may be because of your lack of stretching. Tight muscles cause soreness and knots, which significantly affect our stress levels. Think about it: tight muscles feel tense and complex, making it a not-so-comfortable experience.

THENEWMD uses the Fit3D ProScanner technology and state-of-the-art fitness assessment tools. The Fit3D scan gathers information on body composition, comparing the amount of lean body mass to the amount of fat body mass. All measurements are compared to ACSM-recommended measurements, and our health/fitness trainer will provide general guidance on managing body composition based on individual results.
